Your Voice Mail message list can be sorted in ascending (top-down, first to last, A-Z, etc.) order or descending order (bottom-up, etc.) based on any of the columns that has an underlined title except the Select Column. Click a column heading to sort the list based on that column.
The column that is currently being used for sorting is marked with an up or down-arrow. If the arrow is pointing down, then the list is sorted in ascending order. If the arrow is pointing up, then the list is sorted in descending order based on that column.
Updating Your Personal Directory
Updating Your Frontier Call Manager Personal Directory
You can add a number from the Voice Mail Mailbox to your Frontier Call Manager Directory. You can also add an alternate number to an existing entry in your Personal Directory, in the event that one of your contacts called you from a different number.
To add an entry to your Directory from your Voice Mail Mailbox:
- Access the Frontier Call Manager Dashboard on your computer and, under Voice Mail on the Dashboard Navigation panel, click New Messages or Saved Messages.
- Your Message Mailbox will appear. Find the Voice Mail entry you want to add to your Directory.
- Click the Options icon to the right of that entry. The Options window will appear. Note that the Name and Phone Number fields will be automatically filled in under each option.
- To add the number to your Personal Directory, click the desired Phone Number Type and click Add to Personal Directory at the bottom of the box. The Personal Directory > Add window will appear. Make any updates needed and then click the Add button at the bottom.
- The Personal Directory window will appear with the added directory listing.
To update an existing entry in your Directory from your Voice Mail Mailbox:
- Access the Frontier Call Manager Dashboard on your computer and, under Voice Mail on the Dashboard Navigation panel, click New Messages or Saved Messages.
- Your Message Mailbox will appear. Find the Voice Mail entry you want to update in your Directory.
- Click the Options icon to the right of that entry. The Options window will appear. Note that the Name and Phone Number fields will be automatically filled in under each option.
- In the Update a Personal Directory Record box, find the Search by field and select either First Name or Last Name. Enter the name of the person you want to search for and click the Go button to the right of the name.
- If multiple choices are returned, select the entry to update by clicking to put a dot in the circle next to it.
- Select the Phone Number Type for this phone number.
- Click Update Personal Directory button at the bottom of the box.
- The Personal Directory>Edit window will appear. Make any updates needed and then click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
- The Personal Directory window will appear with the following message at the top of the screen: Personal Directory successfully modified
